For nearly 30 years, the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) headquarters has served as a central gathering place for member meetings, training sessions and industry events.

Conveniently located in the greater Chicago area, CATA offers professional, flexible meeting and event spaces designed to accommodate a variety of needs. Whether you're hosting a meeting, training session, confidential interview or product showcase, our facility provides the space and resources to support your event.

Meeting & Event Spaces

Our facility offers a variety of spaces, including:

• Large meeting and event salons
• Conference rooms
• Private meeting spaces
• An adjacent atrium for vehicle displays, networking and special events

Beginning July 1, 2026, CATA meeting and event spaces transitioned to a paid rental model for member use. Revenue generated from room rentals supports room setup and cleaning services and is reinvested into building and facility improvements, helping CATA continue to provide a high-quality meeting environment for members and partners.

The CATA is at the northwest corner of Butterfield Road and Trans Am Plaza Drive. The intersection is 1 block west of where Butterfield and Cermak Road (22nd Street) merge, and 1 block east of Meyers Road.
